a note about captions ~ i havent been captioning my videos myself for a long time because i just dont have the capacity - hopefully one day some of the cognitive spoons needed for editing the automatic transcription will come back to me but for now my [imperfect!!] solution is that i upload my videos at least a day before they post so that by the time they do the automatic captions have been generated so there is at least something for people who need captions, even if they arent 100% accurate. i have managed to edit the captions for a couple of my short videos but it's just too tiring generally, especially for longer videos and i need to use those spoons for like existing in otherways in the world !! i rly love making videos and the process needs to be accessible to me, like if i only uploaded videos i could caption i wouldnt really be able to make any which is sad!! i think youtube has also turned off community added captions which is tragic so yeah that's my policy atm. if you have any suggestions that you think could work within these limitations lmk for sure! i'm sorry :( ♡
