The Taxi Association says it is working with the Government on measures to improve the service, especially at the Casemates taxi rank.
It says action has already been taken against some drivers for rejecting fares, and is encouraging people to report any issues to the Transport Ministry's inspectors.
After treaty implementation began, the Government introduced signs at the frontier telling Spanish taxi drivers they cannot operate in Gibraltar, and has begun to issue fixed penalty notices for drivers found to have entered.
Christina Cortes asked the Taxi Association's Christian Agius and Malcolm Martin for their response to the Government's actions.
