Tinashe and Tate McRae collaborate in my mashup 'Revolving Touch'. It features Tinashe's song 'Touch & Go' from her album 'Songs For You' and Tate McRae's hit single 'Revolving Door' from her album 'So Close To What'. I've always wanted to mix these two together since I believe Tinashe was the prototype and McRae is the protege at RCA. Everything Tate McRae is billed as, Tinashe was already doing, yet they dropped her! In this mix, 'Revolving Door' is slowed down considerably which I prefer as it gives time for the lyrics to land, I always feel like McRae songs are too fast to let the emotion land. I had a great video for this mix that showcased the similarities between the two artists but it was blocked so it's picture only. Let me know your thoughts!
