Today is 26th December 2014. This video looks at 15 apple varieties and 2 pears from our orchard which we have been able to keep in our natural store until now. Some are wrinkly and few are really crisp, but they are all still worth eating, and some are really delicious.

If you are planting a backyard orchard, always put in at least one later keeping variety. Ideally plant at least 3 apple varieties-early, mid season and late so you can spread your fruit availability. Early apples are welcome straight from the tree, don't keep, late ones aren't ripe until stored for some time.
