hello there! in this TAS, i do a tool-assisted recording of a Sonic ROM hack called "Sonic TG New Advance". this dates all the way back to 2010. how interesting.
a tool-assisted speedrun is like a speedrun, but it's done so by rerecording, editing, save-stating, and frame advancing a playthrough of a game. more information can be seen in tasvideos.org
this TAS takes advantage of the homing attack, jump boost, and spindash altogether. i'm not very good at TASing, so... see if you can beat MY time!
