act 8 jul 2024: this star can be beaten in less time with a hyper speed lava boost at the top of level, reducing some seconds.
I found the biggest shortcut in the history of SM64 Black Virus definitely, I was looking and studying this level again of curiosity after complete Infrared Paradise of Return of Wrath in case if I could make a similar Hyper Speed Wallkicks shortcut like in the other level and it was definitely possible!
This Star can be quite fast with this new strats, instead of 30 minutes passing the whole level to only 3 minutes.
This is the longest single (no reds or collectibles) star in Black Virus, now with this new shortcuts, I don't believe it

This star really pushed myself to my limits, although I was lucky with some areas and I passed them without many savestates or problems and my route it worked without any complications.
Star 4: Secrets, Checkpoints whatever you want to call it, [yellow coins does not contribute, you can avoid them because the hitbox of the secrets are bigger than coins |example: 3:09| so this star for me cant be called Yellows like the Red Coins Reds mission because you need all specific obj IDs to spawn the Star.
In this case you need only get the Secret IDs to spawn Star, Yellow Coins are a reference object to make sense.
Actually this is the longest no Red Coin Star in this game, ~16 min, At first I thought this star would be possible in less than 25 min but never less than 20 min, having reached it in this time is a great achievement and Star 5 Red Coins may be quite possible in less than 1 hour (60 min) with this fast strategies.
The worst thing of the runs is the big QSLG chains at the top area of the level, in this star 115 ledgegrabs and ~6min for the run, for red coins is the double, so ~12min is secured for S5.

Random things that I would like to mention:
The single yellow coin object has a terrible draw distance not like red coins, coin formations or solid objects, I never found a solution for that.
Other thing are the Heave-Hos models, why are a Star? is because the original one crashed in this level I dont have idea why, they are not the large number of vertices and triangles of the level, I tested it when this level are almost empty and same thing happens.
3:09 The Secret hitbox helped me a lot with the input to make a new wallkick and reach bottom for a shortcut.
5:46 lucky chuckya RNG position to grab the ground
6:19 you need to make heave-ho fall down to continue up, is something difficult.
7:42 invisible wallkicks area in reference to Vacuum Paradise of Black Virus.
8:27 the long QSLG chain is based on the one of Everlasting Encore of TWDE
12:21 you cant fall down to the secret because there are a invisible ground to avoid some ledgegrab glitches

I started in May this TAS but I was inactive for 1 month until I start again continuing with the other red coins, after beating Stars 1 and 2 in 7 minutes I thought this star would be possible in less than 30 minutes but the QSLG and Lava Bounces chains at the top final of the level they said NO.
Really this run was very tedious, really a nightmare level especially the zig-zag shell ride 8:04 that takes me about 3000 rerecords because anywhere it was possible to do speed and long jumps to use them as a shortcut
The level design can be improved a lot and remove some long obstacles but I didnt plan to remaster it and I left it like that because it doesnt seem so bad and basic so I left it like that and I give priority to other levels.

7:30 a BLJ strat shortcut to avoid the wallkicks on the top to reach the shell box area instantly.
19:14 Mario is crocked because I use a angle that is not parallel to the walls to get the red coin faster.
21:30 I laugh because surprise lava bounce
24:38 hswk strat for skip some qslg
24:45 the eyes Mr.I are almost useless at qslg, the snufit is a very good enemy obstacle to put and is better than the horrible fire spewers
25:14 very hard to break the metal cap box without burning, the object was glued to the ground
25:26 I wait for the metal cap ends to use the fly guy to reach the other metal cap box to avoid quicksand
