NX71 | [TAS] SM64 Return of Wrath Aftershock Nightmare Star 1 in 7:17''00 and Star 2 in 7:19''02 @nx7173 | Uploaded May 2023 | Updated October 2024, 11 hours ago.
~1 week approx to making the 2 TASes, I really wasn't motivated to TASing the 2 stars of this level, It was really complex at the beginning and the rest after.
I honestly I don't like the level design, I need to put more obstacles and variety of structures, especially star 2 is bored to watch, but for the red coins it will be much better to see because they will be throughout the entire level where will see more variety of things.
Star 1 info:
For the Star 1 was a normal beginning until 3:46 where I found a great shortcut to skip the invisible wallkicks area.
in 4:11 to the get Star 1 really lost 2200 rerecords because I forgot to have more HP to get the star, yes :( so from that 4:11 minute to grab S1 I had to TASing all over again and it was good, because I found new shortcuts and strats.
to get the HP to grab S1 you need to get the red coin at 5:29

requires: have unlocked unlocked Metal Cap and Wing Cap because you need to use the 6:36 boxes to jump
Star 2 info:
Same beginning as S1 but in 9:05 I found a damn new strat to climb faster the hexa wallkicks, and in 9:16 I decided to take another route instead of going all the way of S1 until 4:38 where we can fall down to the right to find to find a shell ride and then continue with a few lava bounces and wallkicks to get the Star 2, but obviously it takes longer.
The 11:37 wallkicks method it's much faster.

why there is a Lamborghini at the middle of the level? 2:24
is because Bowser used this level in the past to save their cars lol
nah, I want to make a random art in the level for decoration.
Another interpretation would be the nightmare to get the money to buy that car, because this level is called Afershock Nightmare haha.

The 38 scary red coin star beaten in 8 minutes and under this 8 min is totally possible if you make more speed at the start of the level area and the heave ho RNG position dont ruin your life.
