Lu9.2 ᑎᐱ | [TAS] Sheep Raider /Sheep Dog 'N Wolf (PS1) Any% in 35:32 (RTA timing without loads) @Lu9.2 | Uploaded 4 months ago | Updated 5 hours ago
Made in BizHawk 2.9.1 (Octashock core)
The past few weeks have been crazy for SDW speedrunning! In part thanks to a cutscene skip (that doesn't rely on inputting the cheat code) saving roughly 3 minutes and a half, and a set of newly discovered tricks that I'd consider to be the "BLJ" of this game - the "Goat Jump", "Quadruple Jump", and even "Infinite Jump", the latter discovered by yours truly :) all of these jumps you will find scattered throughout this run.
*Things to note:*
• Like the two previous TASes, the timer on screen is RTA time and loading screens were removed
• As stated on the previous TAS, the footage here is essentially the same as the previous one, with footage of improvements in individual levels replacing the old ones.
• Includes inputs on screen
• The FPS counter you'll sometimes see doesn't really mean anything, it's basically the frame rate at which BizHawk was running while simultaneously encoding video with ffmpeg.
• Level 7 is unchanged from the previous TAS.
• If I don't go for a strat currently used in world records on PC it's because they don't work on PS1 (again as far as is known)
• A separate bonus video with runs of levels 0, B1 and B2, as well as comparisons with older versions of some level runs (especially Level 12, which went through MANY changes) will come later!
Timestamps:
00:00 Intro
01:03 Run Start

30:40 Level 14
31:44 Cutscene Skip
31:49 Level 15
36:33 Lucky Goal
36:36 Run End
For anyone interested in perhaps taking this a step further and properly turning it into a full game "TASvideos.org quality" TAS you may download the .tasproj files used (multiple files since I only recently-ish figured out how the "branches" feature works) here: (will upload soon)
Special thanks to @ItsNumber84, @sam41293 and everyone in the SDW speedrun community! 🡢 discord.com/invite/n3EuF78tDJ
