Part 2 isn't done yet. This is done with LibTas 1.4.1 and Dosbox Staging 0.76.0, running the floppy version of LBA. I don't know if I'll make part 2 because it doesn't keep savestates when you change resolution and I use very often a glitch that changes resolution. Everytime I try a glitch and fail I have to playback the recording from the start so it takes a lot of time. I also had trouble changing graphics drivers back and forth and this run is now desynced so the part 2 would need to be started from a save.
Some parts are optimized, some are not. Here's a few notes about the run:
I used the floppy version because cutscenes don't have a fade out so each cutscene saves about 0.75s.
The main glitch I use is using F5. This glitch doesn't work in the official Dosbox because of SDL 1 that's why I used Dosbox Staging instead. Other emulators would work too.
It's faster to kick Zoe in your house. I tried to move her forward with kisses but it seems slower.
I forgot to skip the worldmap cutscene in the ferry.
When I talk to the astronomer the first part of the talk is optimized, but then I lose time jumping on the wall.
In the Temple of Bù, the boulder part without jumping is frame perfect and pixel perfect. It can't be done on a regular run.
In the Temple of Bù, the vertical saw hits me hard because it tries to go inside me so it hits me every frame. How much it hits you depends on how you touch it.
The death in Proxima Island saves less than 1 second.
