A majority of the time spent on this chapter was dedicated to attempting the mayor cutscene trigger from outside of his house, but unfortunately we are unable to get to him quick enough to have it save time.
You might have been wondering about our peril strategy. We decided to manipulate the hyper spiked goombas on the way to the steeple. Instead of fighting Gus or the beetle and waiting 3 rounds to get to 1 health, hyper spiked goombas can all deal 9 damage in 1 round, thereby saving time (that, and it isn't out of the way at all).

Basically, section track timers count by frames instead of seconds, so you can only improve by .016 at a time.")
