idk if hitting the wall first out of the stj is faster than hitting the ground first (like xiah does in his run), but it probably doesn't matter too much either way. this is pretty much the max speed you can get out of the blj, cause if you get much more than this, you clip through the wall and into a death plane. idk any other improvements, i just copied the strat xiah did.

got 2nd place. first real tas ive done for a while. i thought it was p well optimized for this route, but nis beat me by almost a second with an sblj route 😔.

notes for anyone wanting to try this star:
the movement to the wingcap box (along with the c-left as you gp) reduces lag on console. you can get more speed out of the flight, but i think that the speed i get in this run is around the fastest you can reasonably go in an actual attempt. i wanted this to be realistic, and as such i did most of the hyperspeed section rta w/ savestates. with a bit less speed, i was able to get 2470 from right before the secrets to the star in rta.
