My Old Notes: Only in 60FPS can the player roll faster than normal running in Werehog mode. Speed increases in Day modes but I cant prove it yet. Every sidestep is 11 frames instead of 6. Certain areas I can go faster in, most likely due to the amount of frames I can work with.
Pros of full run:
I get faster times at least* (Many records especially Cool Edge Day could be better but Im gonna use my it is what it is card (1))
Spagonia Night 1* (Easiest and the best level I TASed so far.)
Werehog Slingshots*
Cons of full run:
Cutscenes* (I did find something, a save file on speedrun.com that speedrunners used, but I only was able to find it after I did Spagonia night 1. I am not going to waste another 3 weeks getting this far so it is what it is. (2))
Cool Edge Day*
Had a Brainfart on Shamar Day*
Every Shamar Night stage*
Eggmanland Day 1*
(I never tried to skip the mission clear sessions in the first few missions in Aptos. Easily forgot about those. It is what it is though (3). In the middle of Aptos night 2, I finally started using the TAS inputs to precisely go where I needed to go without wasting too many frames. Couldve done that sooner but it is what it is. (4))
Pros of 60FPS:
More frames to work with*
60FPS 90% of the time*
Not 30FPS lol*
More Xbox experience*
Cons of 60FPS:
Frame drops in certain areas*
Load times in cutscenes and certain areas are loooooooong*
Certain areas in the run I cant do/gain access to*
Increased FOV*
Frame skips in certain areas*
Bosses are faster*
Werehog cant run most of the time* The run is invalid with the 60FPS code I used.
My New Description: Well 2 years down the drain because of a single part that breaks the game using 60FPS. Its painful but its fine. I wish I knew about the code where you can switch from 30 fps to 60 a long time ago. A lot of points where I had to hiatus in this run cause it was so demotivating & time consuming. Possibly my most difficult run yet & its not even 90% optimized. Though its new & had to be done. I really wish I couldve finished this thing. Wanna thank @itsBlazingmo (https://www.youtube.com/@Blazzingmo) for the help from Adabat day all the way to Eggmanland Day & even our promo video & more. I guessing there will be a legitimate run of this game from him soon so go sub to him. He actally knows what hes doing & is very cooperative. Thanks man.
