We're all ready to go fight THK, but not having geo means not being able to unlock most stag stations. Thankfully there's a free station in Resting Grounds, though it's a bit of a trek to get there, with some really annoying tight hallways in City. This segment still needs some work, but we're very close to the end now. Fun side note: the weird interaction at the actual station is due to the time save from load time removal; skipping the bell and stag animations by leaving the room twice saves 2.57 seconds on the load-removing timer.

Since 0Geo cant buy stags, it has to take some pretty awkward routes. This segment includes a bunch of reverse motion through Fungal, which has some interesting vertical traversal challenges. It also includes a rework of the dives while escaping Sanctum, removing the unnecessary lever and featuring even more ridiculous geo dodging than before.")

This is a segment from my upcoming tool-assisted speedrun for Hollow Knight in the category Ghostbusters. This fight takes quite a while on low equipment, but TAS has fun with the fight. In particular, it uses Dashmaster in conjunction with shade cloak as a poor mans DDark, taking advantage of the iframes to dodge the dashes without having to awkwardly jump and risk getting a parry on the portion of TLs swing that extends behind him. And, finally, were ready to banish the one ghost in the run that requires so many of the shenanigans in the route, the one ghost that we need to create ourselves in a most traitorous fashion.")

This is part of the Spelless TE TAS. On our way to get wings, we spend a few seconds to take out the Broken Vessel. With nail 2, strength and fury, TAS is doing 35 dmg per nail hit and things tend to die pretty quickly. Thankfully the trip to get here is pretty fun too.")

Hallownest is haunted and in this tool-assisted speedrun, were going to banish the ghosts and bring peace to the land. This run involves a lot of interesting tech and a unique route thats not human-viable in the slightest.
The run is on patch 1432 and is developed using a tool called libTAS. Due to technical limitations with the stability of TASing on 1432, it had to be encoded in several segments and then the video spliced together from those segments. As such, you may notice a few subtle discontinuities at splice points. The nature of the splicing also means that we dont have a load-removal timing for the run, but honestly for a meme run like this, the time isnt super important.

Not quite as exciting as dodging geo in this arena, but still pretty fun; fighting without touching the ground isnt too hard, but lining up the perfect timing for the early control on the pickup is much trickier. I tried very hard to get a one-cycle with only ddark and twister, but it doesnt appear to be mathematically possible. The target pattern was dive (skipping the dive damage and just barely hitting with the first shockwave), nail-dive, nail-dive, nail-dive, dive, with all nail cancels being minimum jump upswings to minimize the height for the subsequent dive. Unfortunately, Uumuu goes invulnerable again just before the last dive hits, so needed to do a two-cycle. Will probably redo this later with rng manip for the ideal two-cycle pattern or might try for a one-shot with ooma lure (without wcs), but for now its good enough to proceed.")

This is part of the tool assisted speedrun for 0 Geo TE with Gathering Swarm. This segment doesnt have any geo, but posting it mainly as a reference for other speedrunners, since this particular drop on 1221 isnt seen very often. If youre wondering why the knight has zero masks, this is a visual glitch from the Lost Kin early exit, which we did just prior to heading down here. Yes, this 0 Geo TE route is weird. Timing from room entry to exit is ~19.1 s. Timing from door open to room exit is ~8.2 s.")
