“Tarzan and Black Ivory” – Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle series episode
Starring: Lamont Johnson
Tarzan is spending time with the Marwa tribe, whose members are noted for their extremely tall handsome physiques. Tarzan has been declared a son of the tribe by the chief; however, he did not realize that he would be required to take Velda, the chief's daughter, as his wife. This creates problems with Kalo, whom she had previously been betrothed; further complicating matters is a Bedouin slave trader and rogue captain, who are determined to make slaves – black ivory - of the Marwa. Tarzan’s disdain for slavery is evident again in this episode as he takes on these criminals.
