I've always said that if I was ever going to beat a level in secret, I would tell absolutely no one. I stuck to my word and did this in secret for the past month and a half without telling a single person. I am very glad to have this finished. The level itself is very special to me for many reasons, but I probably would have never done it if not for the idea of doing it for an April 1st upload. Speaking of the April 1st upload. I was on pace to beat this maybe around March 20th or earlier, but I have been losing a lot of motivation with this game, as well as school and other things in my life taking up my time, so I was not really able to play this too consistently and ended up playing it on and off a lot.
As for the completion itself, I used the same icons Space used and the same song Beastular did because those were kind of the two tartarus completions I used to always watch back when this was top 1. I got a little lucky maybe in the last segment (64-100), but got pretty badly mindblocked with the swingcopter and especially the ufo around 54%. On my last day (March 31st) I got 75%, 80%, 97%, 100%, 37%-100% and a bunch of other runs, so I was really consistent.
Now about the level, I think it’s alright at best. I did enjoy some parts but it was pretty boring at times from 0, but maybe that's just my motivation. The predrop got consistent after a bit but 31% was always an issue, even when I beat the level it was a complete dice roll whether or not I'd pass it. Without 31% I think this level would probably be easier than Zodiac.
I've been mentioning my motivation a lot, and I think this might be my last mainlist completion. I don't really find grinding levels as fun as I used to and there are more things I want to try to do in real life at the moment. To think it has almost been two years of me grinding this game is crazy. I enjoyed my time playing it a lot and I want to thank everyone who interacted with me or my videos in any way.
