Aussie Garage | Tarmac West Brings The BEST of Perth City To Life! @AussieGarage | Uploaded September 2024 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
In this episode we attend he calibration of motorsport. Part of Tarmac west and Targa west, this is a big week for motorsport in Perth. The Targa stages took place through the week in the Perth surrounding arias. Coming into the city on Friday night for a display in Forest pl. that was great to see all the cars lined up, there was live music and a great atmosphere.
Then came the Celebration of Motorsport and Celebration of Hot Rods and Streets Machines on Sunday. It was such a great day out. Langley park on the Perth foreshore was taken over by car clubs of all sorts, there was displays by the remote control car club, there was a monster truck giving joy rides to the kids and heaps more. It also was the last stage for Targa West so there were race cars flogging around the tarmac stage that ran along the foreshore and wound through what was normally a carpark. At midday there was a city cruise where cars that are not usually allowed on the street got the opportunity to cruise through the city on a designated route. it was awesome to see these cars rumbling through and echoing off the buildings. This was a new thing this year and I hope it only gets bugger and better. On top of all that it was a perfect sunny day for just wandering through the cars on the grass, watch a little racing and all and all hand out with a great crowd. A big thanks to all the organisers we know they all worked very hard to make this a great event for Perth. Thanks for watching.
