For FCP4, I decided to cover one of my favorite prog songs using only the 2A03 chip, without any DPCM. Although it was pretty hard to get everything to sound like I wanted it to, I'm mostly satisfied with how it turned out (I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't replicate the synth very faithfully, though). Ultimately, the song got 15th place in the covers section, the same place that Oceanside Acrobatics got in last year's FCP.
notes:
-I originally wanted to cover the first two parts of Tarkus (Eruption and Stones of Years), but I had to settle on just Eruption due to time constraints.
-I made this cover in two phases: one by ear and another using the official sheet music.
