In an earlier video (studio) i needed to attach my softboxes to a plate using a pipe, i now have to make a base for a Tesla Coil target (strike rail), again this involves attaching a pipe to a base, i could have done this by drilling and tapping the end of the aluminium rod i'm going to use, but the rod is used for other things, so didn't want to damage it, that's why i used a pipe as a socket for the rod to fit into, here's the way i accomplished the task on both projects.
