A Marine Sherman tank just off the shores of Red Beach 2 that can be seen in a number of historic photos. The tank is located just off the shore where Red Beach 2 connects with Red Beach 1, this area had some of the most intense fighting during the landings.
Not far from the Sherman tank are the remains of two LVTs. These LVTs are fairly close to the shore and not far from what appears to be the old seawall possibly from the battle.
