NecroVore Syndrome
Pathogenesis:
A parasitic microorganism or virus infects the host's body, consuming flesh, muscle, and tissues while leaving the skeleton and vital organs intact.
The disease consumes the body's outer layers, giving the infected a skeletal, decayed appearance.
Hivemind Connection:
The disease binds hosts to a greater collective intelligence or consciousness, controlling their behavior. The infected become drones of the "Hivemind," directed by a single governing organism or network.
Evolution:
The disease has adaptive properties, rapidly evolving its host body for greater efficiency, allowing for modifications that enhance survival and the spread of the infection (e.g., enhanced agility despite skeletal form, sensory adaptation, etc.).
Infected individuals may mutate, growing new organs or appendages to suit the needs of the collective.
Symptoms:
Severe wasting as flesh is consumed internally.
Loss of autonomy as the Hivemind begins to take control of the nervous system.
Visible organs sustained in a skeletal frame, kept alive unnaturally by the parasitic infection.
Date: 7/23/2004
Time: 4:39 AM
Location: Casual. CO Building 239
Time Of Discovery: 5/19/2006 9:13 PM
Location Of Discovery: City 19 East Train Station
Summary:
Found this weird tape at the East Train Station, Don't know why it was there but it's pretty creepy. It has a label on it and all it says is just, "Tape 1/4". I don't know where the others are but I'll keep looking. - Adam
