POST HARVEST/PACKING SHED FOR MARKET GARDEN & CSA VEG BOX SCHEME
In the first of our new series of short tutorials and insights into the workings of Tap Farm we look at an important part of our farms infrastructure - the packing shed. This building is where most of our post harvest operations happen, where we weigh, bag and box our organic vegetable shares for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) veg box scheme. Located close to our market garden, the packing shed has been designed to make use of limited space and incorporates two of Curtis Stones designs from his book 'The Urban Farmer'.
