What happens when you drive a 60 Ton Chieftain Tank at a scrap Double Decker Bus? This!
After nearly three decades of service, this 1998 Volvo Olympian failed its MOT is spectacular fashion with severe chassis rot making it unviable and uneconomical for repair. Before being brought to Tanks, Trucks and Firepower, every salvageable part, including the engine, running gear and more was removed for use in other vehicles.
The remains were then positioned in the main arena for the ULTIMATE send off... being crushed by the legendary Chieftain Tank.
The old bus put up a good fight, bringing the 60 ton war machine to a stop - briefly - but it was no match for the sheer brute force of this incredible machine.
The remains of the bus were then taken away and recycled.
