TJBChris | Tandy 1000 RLX/HD: Check Out My Newest Computer @TJBChris | Uploaded July 2021 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
I have a new Tandy computer: The Tandy 1000 RLX/HD. I'll walk through this machine's basic features, go over the add-ons I've installed, demonstrate how I get software onto it, and walk through some of the software that I have installed. The monitor is a VGM-220 with stand...the worst Tandy VGA monitor IMO. Some of the cuts I made during the software transfer section are a little funky; bear with me...I tend to go off on tangents and decide to edit them out.
At one point I patch the Logitech mouse driver to work with Windows 3.1. The source for that can be found in this thread (post #6): vcfed.org/forum/forum/genres/tandy-radio-shack/70346-windows-3-x-and-the-tandy-1000-ps-2-mouse-port
