Late July and August signal fair season in Alaska! Here's a brief glimpse at the Tanana Valley State Fair in Fairbanks, circa 1965. Scenes include a goat and cow, a child on a pony, fairgoers of all ages, and midway rides. There are numerous fairs scattered throughout the state.
