Hey Guys! After a long time of difficulties due to restrictions it has finally become more easy to hold a concert. My colleague and musical artist Lisa Lehmann and I tailored a program of songs that are very dear to our hearts and circle around love and human encounter why we called our concert ”Songs von Liebe und Begegnung“ (Songs of Love and Encounter).
”Heal the World“ was the reason I got interested into Michael Jackson’s music. Christmas 1999, my wish was Michael Jackson‘s CD ”History” and Heal the World has been my favorite song on this CD for a long time until I discovered the rest of his great music. It was great joy for me to perform this song with Lisa together in our concert.
I love the groovy and humorous character of this absolute classic ”Stand by your man“.

Jazzy Friday is my 10 part series where I present the piano pieces of the Junior Jazz 1 Series by Herman Beeftink. This is a great book to start in Jazz Piano. The melodies are catchy, the chords pretty cool. On the left page there are always exercises for rhythmic patterns and on the right is the piece. ”Queen of the hearts“ is written in Seaside Café Jazz style. The improvisation starts at 0:42.
