Welcome to my second Tamiya kit build video. This is the brand new Dynahead 6x6 based on the g601 chassis, released with new portal axles! I was sent this kit from FusionHobbies.com here in England to build and review for you guys. This truck is an RC crawler designed to navigate all kinds of terrain. It runs around the half the speed of the Kong Head & USA tractor trailer style versions in order to better tackle rocky conditions. Let's go take a look!

The cab-over truck body is a special design by Takayuki Yamazaki of PDC Design-works
Hub reduction axles raise ground clearance by 15mm; in conjunction with the traction provided by a 37.35:1 gear ratio (with kit-included 18T pinion), the Dynahead 6x6 has awesome off-road and crawling capability
5-spoke wheels are paired with V-tread block tires (53854) for superlative bite
With suspension reassembly and a separately-sold transmitter with 4WS function and R/C equipment, the rear wheels can be made steerable
6-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension is paired with friction dampers
540 brushed motor included
The 6WD chassis employs 3 differential gears to transmit power from the front-centre-mounted motor to all of the model's wheels
The differentials are encased in the durable monocoque
