So, How good is the stock Tamiya TXT-2 Agrios?
The truck is stock (with ball bearings with a 2S Lipo) stock kit motors, stock pinion gears, running kit wheels/tires and front steering only. The truck has a very wide turning radius (@ 8 feet). I could not show the lap times as it was too sunny out to see the laptop's screen. This was just a test of the lap system (so far, so good). This is TrackMate Racing RC Lap Counting System.
Now, about the truck in stock form, is it a full blown race truck, NO, is it a fun running truck, YES! 2 or more of these trucks together and you could really have some fun, the stock tires are softer than stock Clod tires and they grip really well.
The ramps Kevin & i made last year and stand @ 8 inches, the truck can take higher jumps if that's your thing, but for fun, those were fine. What's next for this awesome truck? What can you do with it without spending a lot of cash? I have a few ideas, stay tuned!!
