As a youngster she was part of the Canadian family country group The Neilsons, who were very successful in Canada in the 90s. In 2007 she moved to New Zealand and launched her solo career. Since then it's been up all the way, and her two most recent albums Dynamite! (2014) and Don’t be Afraid from 2015, have won her prizes and sent Tami Neilson on major tours.
