The TAMA 50th Limited Starclassic Mirage looks wintry cool enough for a residency gig at Elsa’s Ice Castle from the Disney film, Frozen. With a Crystal Ice finish and black nickel hardware, the 5-piece acrylic shell pack certainly looks glacial, but the transparent kit delivers a thunderous resonance and attack that’s anything but frosty.

In fact, the seamless acrylic shells are impervious to changing climates. You could conceivably set up for a party at a chilly Swiss ski resort, and then jet to Dubai for a desert music festival without worrying about the tone of the Mirage toms fluctuating. The big-beat, punchy sound of the TAMA 50th Limited Starclassic Mirage is achieved with a 22x16" bass drum, 10x7" and 12x8" rack toms and 14x12" and 16x14" floor toms. Other features include die-cast hoops, padded floor tom legs and padded bass drum claws.

The matching TAMA 50th Limited Starclassic Mirage 14 x 6.5" acrylic snare can be purchased separately. It features 10-hole die-cast hoops and TAMA 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires.
