The story of John Turbayne who is an American man of Scottish heritage. In a vivid dream, John receives glimpses of a past journey to Australia in the 19TH century with his great- grandfather and Great Uncle. He also receives a message from his family expressing support for the survival of his own son's battle with cancer. John learns that his great- grandfather adopted and taught an indigenous boy whom he named William Turbane. He seeks to understand his ancestor's plight to protect indigenous people who had been persecuted and continue their legacy. Contains archival images and footage of the Indiginous people of Australia.
