In this video, we visit the Imagineering: Horizons pavilion at D23 to check out the incredible Anzellan Creature Workshop. These tiny droidsmiths—belonging to the Anzellan species (the very same as the fan-favorite Babu Frik from The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian)—aren't just running on a standard pre-programmed loop.Thanks to Walt Disney Imagineering's latest autonomous tech, these little guys actually react to each other and actively engage with guests in real-time. Watch as they banter in their iconic high-pitched chatter, call out people in the crowd, and keep us fully entertained while they "repair" salvaged tech.
