We want to highlight books that celebrate joy, love, and resilience in black culture.W e also open up the conversation by acknowledging the current social and political climate, including immigration and ICE raids, and reflect on why storytelling and representation matter now more than ever. Black literature has always been a space for truth, healing, resistance, imagination, and joy and we’re celebrating that through these recommendations.
