Not much to say about Jude. He is "reasonably and respectably" good; in other words, he's got the artes and speed without any of the jank hitboxes of other shadow bosses. But then again, this is the "sub" version of Jude.
He counters with Demon Fist, Mirage Blitz, and Talon Storm. There are probably more artes, but I beat him rather quickly(1 session of 20 mins), so I'm not sure if he has anything else.
Of course, he can Snap Pivot. This is probably the most dangerous tool he has as it is hard to react to it in the moment. Most of the time, I'll try to Eagle's Rage out of it if I feel like "getting out of there", but otherwise I'll just get hit. Lost a few times because of that.
Fortunately, Jude can't really hit that well above him, except with Recumbent Wolf. And like shadow Leia, he needs to get close to start an arte, so its easy to lead in with Darting Claw or any attack really, unless he uses Demon Fist.

Modifications made:
- bosses have all weaknesses and resistances removed
- set Leia's Max HP to 18(so I can die in 1 hit)
- set STR and DEX to 9999(this can be done legitimately at endgame)
- changed Chronos 3 encounter to the video's boss and battlefield to Illusionary Darkness; avoids needing to link to deal damage
- - result from above caps the encounter at level 77 by default instead of the enemy's original level(if its higher, and it will be for Shadow bosses)
Music:
VilllllL's - JazzMatazz vol.1(Track 20)
The Deli - Tyner
BIG THANKS to @Sora3100 for the cheat table to make this run possible =03!

Well, this boar is a bore =0v.
As usual, tanky Iron Stance led me to start all combos with SsSpin. I just go from there. It counters with either a dig-into-earth-then-pop-out move, or a running charge that can follow me somewhat. Usually counters with the charge, unless its a guard counter, where itll be the dig move. The charge itself is difficult to sidestep if Im not dodging before he actually runs at me, so I aim to try and anticipate when this will happen by using artes so that Im on the ground and close when he counters.
Irrelevant for this video, but you can BREAK him by attacking his backside after his charge move. Very easy to do once you dodge him since he idles for 5 secs after the charge(if he doesnt hit anything), but that actually made it harder for me to avoid(BREAKing him made him super trivial, and I dont want to idle for 5 secs while he recovers; i.e. its a loss). This does happen once in this fight and I was lucky enough to stagger him before he BREAKd.

1:20 - Skip to fight.
Not very satisfied with this one, which is why I uploaded 2(this + Trio) at once, but dont feel like returning to Graces anytime soon, lol. Real sloppy towards the end, but thats because I did this before doing the real Solomus. The whole battle is dependent on how well Cyandine can strike, and other lucky variables, so I cant say this took a lot of skill. Still, it was fun though, dodging all the stuff that occurred at once. Tales of Graces ƒ- Enter the Dragons [Pascal solo]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Km3tA6jdxgM/mqdefault.jpg)

![Tales of Arise - Mantis [Hard] - Shionne solo
You thought I was gonna leave the mantis be? Nah, its gonna catch these boolits.
Thisll be the last video for the demo. Too much trouble to fight the special boss solo, since its only a one-time deal and building the levels takes time. Gonna remain a mystery until the full game for me =0v.
After getting used to its patterns, the mantis isnt too hard. Because of how the mantiss slash attacks can whiff, I try to evade in the same direction it attacks to get a perfect evasion. When it does its charging attack, perfect countering stops it in its tracks. It has quicker recovery time than the boar when this occurs, so I only have time for 1 arte before it attacks. Using Aqua Impact usually puts me in just the right position to aim for a perfect evasion on its next claw swipe.
At 50%, it goes into overlimit(OVL) and gets 3 bee mobs to assist in the fight. They can cause paralysis, so I opted to defeat them instead of leaving them be. As long as I keep an eye on the mantis, and perfect evade its charge attack, I will teleport towards my target, sometimes leaving me airborne to use Aqua Impact. This, coupled with Burnstrike, and Luke Divisios homing ability, I can dispatch them quickly.
Kinda hated I got hit 4 times by the mantis, 2 due to miscalculation on distance when evading, and 1 on missed forward input(backstepped instead of stepping forward). That first OVL caught me cold though; keep forgetting about that in the heat of the moment. Not the best of takes, but I can live with this, given the resetting nature of the demo.
