ok yapping session, I’m trying a new description layout where I talk about the animations lowest down

I’m honestly pretty satisfied with how this turned out! I found out about the camera tool Mid-making this so I got to try it out for the first time. The camera movement feels…. wierd at 00:11 where leafy gets crushed tho imo. I saw that recent “Date everything vs inanimate insanity” rap battle video and I LOOOVEED the camera movements in that and wanted to try and replicate it somehow, whiiiiiichhhh I certainly need to practice more on but hey this was my first animation with this tool yeah,,,,,

I still like the way I did camera movements before and I’m gonna use that same technique In the future, just with the correct tool now and only the camera moving around instead of the whole animation being paranted to 2 or 3 different shapes 💔

I’ve gotten better at making them move faster and I’m more comfortable in making bigger movements compared to similar videos I’ve made around a year ago, where the videos was longer but the movements feel very stiff and slow. I still need to learn and try more with bigger movements as characters feeling stiff is something I have a bit of troubles with and want to improve on, whilst still being expressive.
I like the way Golfball turned out but the part where Firey and Leafy flies I could’ve made them more expressive, as their expressions didn’t turn out exactly the way I intended to

ok I’m done yapping i just like to share my thoughts and views on my own stuff to take notes for future animations cuz how else am I supposed to learn if I can’t constructively criticise myself 🐟🐟🐟
