After hours of meticulous work, my Boom Racing BRX01AWB is finally trail-ready — and this is its very first outing. The leaf springs are still stiff, the tires are untouched, and I’m just beginning to get a feel for how this machine handles.
The body has been heavily weathered to reflect the rugged legacy of the original ZiL 130 — a true icon of Soviet industrial history. I wanted it to look like it had lived a long, hard life, and I hope that comes through.
