These two might be familiar to some, from my older wc oc map parts! for being two of four main characters, i realized i havent drawn their relationship much.

I've wanted to make something using this song for a while (I love slenderbodies sm) and since Im so fixated on my ocs atm i thought why not! this was probably the most fun ive had in a while :)
also decided to use after effects for this one, which ill probably do more of going forward!

Script:
As the travelling cats head back to the clans, they stop by the water for a breather. Mistygaze and Sunnyshine mutually like each other, and have been going back and forth as if they'd start a relationship even in two different clans- but as they near their home territories, Mistygaze remembers what she represents to her clan, Duskclan- to them, she's a curse, and anyone who gets close to her dies before their time (they're a superstitious bunch). Having lost her birth mother, siblings, adoptive brother, adoptive mother and birth father while she grew up, she can only believe the curse to be true- and once the travellers arrive and interrupt a gathering, Mistygaze breaks off their relationship to protect Sunnyshine.

A bit of time passes- the only cat left in Duskclan that cares about Mistygaze is her other adoptive mother, Olivestar. But, being a new leader, she has no time to spend with her, and showing her favouritism would cause a rift in the clan. Mistygaze leaves Duskclan for good, and her wandering lands her at the Dawnclan border, where Sunnyshine is passing with a patrol. Mistygaze vents, saying she'll go anywhere but back to Duskclan, and Sunnyshine offers to take her to Dawnclan. Her father Eaglestar of course accepts her request to join, and she is warmly welcomed by her new clanmates- for the first time in her life. And, no surpise, Mistygaze and Sunnyshine get together :)

TLDR: Misty and Sunny like each other, but break up, then Misty leaves Duskclan because she hates it there and Sunny takes her to join Dawnclan, cue lesbian cats

Falcontalon- Big molly with wing pattern on back (camp shot)
Dragonfly- Pale, sleek molly with scar over eye
Maplebark- Huge molly with underbite
Ploverkit- Small tom (next to Magpiewing)
