Known more for his US wrestling experience in the World Wrestling Federation, Taka Michinoku briefly appeared in Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1997 and 1999. In 1997, Michinoku Pro was imported to a couple ECW shows with Taka being one of the main focuses of the matches. After losing the WWF Light Heavyweight title, Taka would return to the ECW and fought alongside the fiery midcard. Taka’s 1999 run was short lived but provided an extra oomph of workrate to the company.

A few years after his run in the US Express, Barry Windham returned to New York as “The Baddest Bull in the WWF” The Widowmaker. The run was not as successful and he quickly disappeared off TV just a few months into this run. He wouldn’t be seen again until he stalked his way back to the WWF.
