Cheap cycle jerseys can be a great option, but often the fit around the middle is far too baggy. Let's fix that!
I love saving money with great value cycle kit, and cycle jerseys are no exception. I have bought LOADS of cheap ones in the past from the likes of AliExpress and eBay, but they all tend to be a bit baggy around the waist.
The more premium jerseys don’t really suffer with this problem, as the fabric tends to be higher quality, and have more stretch/contraction. I covered this in much more detail in a previous video, so check that out if you want to learn more: youtu.be/2F6KoC26NNc
In this video I provide a tutorial on how I tailor my cheaper jerseys, to make the fit, the feel, and the overall comfort much better. It’s a very basic process, and can be done in around 15 minutes with a sewing machine.
It can take the jerseys from looking and feeling quite cheap, to fitting as well, if not better than the more premium jerseys on the market.
