I've spent years building, tweaking, changing, experimenting, wheeling, and camping out of my Tacoma. In this video I go through the build of an idea I had that would allow me to run a wedge rooftop tent on top of my short bed Tacoma, without going above cab height. It's not something I've seen done before, so I figured I'd try it out, see how it worked, and let you guys know what I found. Well, with thoughtful planning, it was a success, first crack. Utilizing some of the Uptop rack systems, paired with the Freespirit Aspen Lite, this is a pretty slick setup I think. I'll report back later with how it does in the wild.
