I spent the day with Adam and Matt of Okie Overland. These guys are awesome! They installed the DRT Cab Mount Relocation Kit (order one here: tinyurl.com/drtkit). The factory 2nd & 3rd gen Tacoma's body mounts make it difficult to fit large tires without rubbing. Even with a cab mount βchopβ we see people still having tire clearance issues. This relocation kit moves the body mount completely behind the firewall, allowing you to fit up to 35" tires without rubbing the body mounts. Other trimming and fitment clearance is required such as trimming the fender liner and flattening the pinch weld.
