Steph Burch is here for the next 3 days to visit! we had a good wee day yesterday just giving Callie a jump ( first time in 3 weeks) I didn't do an awful lot of jumping but she went super. This was Callie showing how honest she is, i got the first canter pole wrong and was really unsure if i should ride or discourage so i ended up just sitting there and she decided the better, safer option. Callie very rarely stops, she'll only stop if she really feels she can't do it. After our horrible rotational fall last year at a show i don't blame her, i know she tries to look after me :) I still like using Canter poles when jumping tackless, it gives us both more of a chance for now :)
Callie will be going out at the end of November for a well deserved break and Mr Alfred will be coming back in :)

Just what we both needed, a good flat out gallop to blow away the cobwebs haha. Never come back from a gallop on the beach not smiling, favourite thing to do! Full video will be uploaded soon :)

Riding Alfie bridleless for the first time ever! I havent done much tackless/bridleless training with him apart from teaching him to stop with body weight and a bit of leg yeilding/turn on the forehand to teach him to move around leg, but he was super chilled today because of the heat so decided to take advantage. He picked it up super fast and should understand neck reining inside a couple of sessions.

Seeing cals foal kicking/moving for the first time! I was giving her a groom and he/she (convinced its a Colt) started kicking back 🙊 Callie is just over 9 months in foal. She is due on 5th may (53 days). Seeing the foal kick is the highlight of my year :)
