Tableau is a powerful and fastest growing data visualization tool used in the Business Intelligence Industry. It helps in simplifying raw data in a very easily understandable format. Tableau helps create the data that can be understood by professionals at any level in an organization. It also allows non-technical users to create customized dashboards. The great thing about Tableau software is that it doesn't require any technical or any kind of programming skills to operate. In this talk, Dr. Jason Scarlett will introduce the important role of Tableau in AHS’s analytic community and the role for analytic people to support daily clinical, operational and business practice, decision-making and strategic planning. Jason will also demonstrate some interesting dashboard examples and how to start to create a tableau dashboard including some basic and advance feature. Lastly, Jason will also introduce some helpful resources: how to get a free version for students and faculties and online learning resource (especially free resource) for beginners to get familiar with tableau.
