With that said, taking a completely uninfluenced approach, I had very few bad things to say about either, if any. The Panorama Curved AMOLED AIO is without a doubt one of the more unique coolers seen for quite some time. The 3D effect from the curved screen gets you transfixed, watching your animations seemingly jumping out at you. The Kanali software made setting up really easy, allowing for GIFS, MP4, JPEG and so many more image formats to immediately appear. Keeping the new RYZEN 7 9800X3D cool didn't take much effort either, even with the pump RPM and fan speeds set below 50%.Luca L70 is undoubtedly a titan case with airflow in mind. Able to support up to EATX with two 420mm radiators simultaneously, this one will be aimed at those seeking only top levels of cooling whilst offering excellent panoramic views inside too. The Frame 4500X is an excellent panoramic PC case, offering plenty of space for hardware whilst retaining a relatively modest footprint. Whilst the Frame 4500X may look like a dual chamber chassis on face value, the PSU is located at the bottom and small chamber to the rear allows for cable management and drive storage. With simplicity of building in mind, Corsair included three Reverse-rotor iCUE LINK LX-R RGB intake fans which do a fantastic job of moving air into the chassis. Using the L-Connect 3 software, adding themes, performance data and video files is completely effortless too. Monitoring CPU / GPU temps can be important, especially when optimising airflow etc. Montech's Hyperflow range just expanded to include the new 'Digital' variation into the line-up.No GIFS, no animations... no complications. Just a simplified display which shows Graphics Card temperatures or Processor, both selectable in degrees and Fahrenheit. The simplified software automatically installs once you boot up the PC too. Coming in at just $99 for the 240mm and $119 for the 360mm, the Hyperflow Digital offers excellent price to performance.For this build we opted to use the Montech HS02 Pro chassis to full show off the pump housing and radiator from all angles and it didn't disappoint. In this configuration, Sam opted to install the side fans as intake to assist the CPU cooler with airflow, whilst the bottom intake fans directly cool the GPU. With low volume in mind, the Noctua cooling setup always hits the sweet spot. At 50% fan speeds, the PC was basically inaudible over ambient room sound and that's something we never take for granted when gaming and editing.Also, after what feels like an eternity of waiting fo ASUS to drop their white GPU’s, Matt finally got hands on and purchased a 5000 series. Who would've known they'd come in so hard in 2025 with the new Xtender VG (and... fridges?!) The Xtender VG has the presence of a dual chamber chassis for those oh-so desirable panoramic views, but without the width of a typical dual chamber case. The Xtender houses the PSU at the bottom which keeps the overall footprint smaller, albeit in the name of being taller.I'm stoked to see Arctic are finally embracing the reversed blade fans with their P14 Pro line. They not only look the part inside this chassis, but perform above average too. The VG (Vertical Graphics) version of the Xtender is able to revert to standard GPU orientation too. Within all of this awesomeness, Arctic have also dropped their Liquid Freezer III PRO 420 AIO's which are cooling titans for sure. Need more radiator airflow than you'll ever need? Whilst the wood panels on the North have been iconic for many, it goes without saying that wood on PC cases isn't for everybody.The Epoch retains the same build quality, dimensions and hardware support as the North which isn't a bad thing. The front panel being all unrestricted mesh allows for excellent airflow too. The mometum fans which came with this case would've been more than adequate, but with blackout in mind, we had to switch them for Silent Wing Pro 4's and we had no complaints.The overall theme with the blackout Be Quiet! hardware combined with the the Epoch's monochromatic style really hits different with this one and we love it. Instead, the AP202 takes a completely new approach, especially where airflow is concerned. ASUS have patented the 'slot' intake along the bottom partition of the case. Initally, I assumed this wouldn't be very effective due to certain relative restrictions in the size and spacing but during testing I was wrong. The slot provides ample airflow for a Micro ATX build whilst also keeping volume levels quiet. I'd love to see ASUS include two reverse fans for the side instead, I can't help but feel that temperatures would be even better with the side as exhaust for more high performance systems. Retaining the design language found on the much larger H7 and H5, the H3 brings it's own style with smaller dimensions but with plenty of airflow for modern systems. It's unusual to find PSU shrouds with usable airflow for mounting fans below the GPU, but NZXT have executed this well, setting back the PSU further towards the sides. Sure, the short coming could be the radiator compatibility (240mm on top, 280mm on the front) but if you utilise the airflow options available it's unlikely you'll encounter any thermal issues. The Radeon RX 9060 XT only just arrived with us on the day of filming, so unfortunately we don't have any testing data for this just yet. The Meshify 3 is their latest iteration, brining some interesting new quirks and features to the table, including software-less configuration control. The Ambience Pro version of the Meshify 3 utilises the 'Adjust Pro Hub' to allow ARGB and fan control without the need for software. You simply access it online through FD's hub and make the relative changes. This is great news for those seeking to keep their PC's free of software and bloatware. As for airflow performance, this is incredible as to be expected. Fractals new Momentum fans move loads of air whilst also having the direction assisted by the airflow ramp at the base of the case. This keeps your GPU exceptionally cool with very low noise too. If there's one thing we've been craving, however, it's a smaller version for those who have less space or less demand... Enter the PA401. Elegant and stylish, those are my two keywords here. The PA401 Wood Edition offers some very warm angles and the subdued wood grain is tasteful whilst not overpowering. ASUS opted to use Ash wood for the front panel which was an interesting but welcomed choice, in a space where others have gravitated more towards Walnut and Pine. The Lancool 217 hits in the same way that the Lancool III did back in 2022. Loads of airflow, intuitive and unique internal designs with a very 'Lian Li' overall style. The Lancool 217's strength comes with those two huge 170mm x 30mm front intake fans. When paired up with the also included two 120mm reversed bottom and single 140mm exhaust fan, there are few other cases at this price point which can beat this in terms of raw airflow and cooling performance. The wood accents Lian Li opted to use with the Lancool 217 feels a little underwhelming. Not because the wood is poor quality, more the uniformity of it. I would've loved to see the wood accents somehow implemented across the bottom section of the case to bring more symmetry. However, when the RGB inside is themed orange this becomes less of a problem. That's exactly what we see here with the 207 Digital. Thankfully, the $79 Lancool 207 and the new Digital variation both retain exactly the same cooling support, meaning those without the need for an LCD screen can opt for the cheaper version, whilst this one being just $30 more, brings customisation and plethora of options for enthusiasts and PC DIYers alike. I have to be honest and say the Lancool 207 Digital is a lot of PC case for the money. Not only are you getting a very well made chassis, but the included two 140mm front intake fans and two 120mm bottom intake fans perform very well indeed, making the whole package almost untouchable at the price vs quality. Taking into consideration modern graphics card sizes, the TR100's make easy work of handling larger GPU's whilst also accommodating up to 280mm radiators up top.Those seeking loads of cooling may be a little disappointed here though, whilst the TR100 is more than capable of drawing in lots of air through the perforated panels, theres no room to install any kind of forced cold air intake. Other than the AIO pump LED's failing, the entire build process was simple, intuitive and easy to work with. Fun fact: the LCD screen I used for this case was actually the screen for Thermaltakes CERES chassis. It would appear that Thermaltake have been using the same screen for all of their cases including the Tower series, so if you decide to pick up the TR100, finding a screen shouldn't be an issue! MiniNeo / Shiny Snake make bold claims that the case supports GPU's up to 335mm, and whilst it is technically possible, it's just not that simple. The TUF Gaming RTX 5070 OC shouldn't technically fit, though it does fall within the allowed dimensions. We did include this during the build stages of the video, but even though we set the BIOS to PCIE Gen 4 (and later Gen 3) the screen tearing issues kept happening so we replaced the riser for a completely different brand. I can't say if this issue is ongoing with riser cables included with the S400 or if the one I purchased was faulty, so I would proceed with that in mind should you wish to replicate the build.Quirks aside, the S400 was a stressful but very rewarding building experience and the final result looks absolutely amazing. Coming in at under $80, the XR wood edition isn't particularly premium in terms of materials and overall build quality, but that's quite alright. This new version truly takes things up a level with more perforations, the Infinirail fan mounting system and loads of modularity to refine exactly the system you need. This Blackout setup certainly hits different, breaking the mould of what we usually visualise with Corsair systems and instead embracing the blackout, refined look. Coming in around $80, there are few other cases with so much airflow focus and modularity combined and that's certainly something to pay attention to. I must also say that I've been incredibly impressed with the fans from Corsair too, specifically the non-rgb category. Where the TK-0 differs is with it's dual chamber format, keeping cable management simple whilst also retaining a unique layout format for its size.Of course, the Jonsbo TK-0 is going to come with some severe limitations, such as zero liquid cooling and very limited fan support, but assuming you're building within the limitations this ITX build really does hit the spot for a small size 1080p and even 1440p performance build. I've always been a big fan of Jonsbo's build quality and the TK-0 continues this with a very sturdy construction and a single bi-curved glass panel which looks amazing in person. PC Building Made Easy: be quiet! Pure Base 501 Airflow | RTX 5080 Gaming PC Build Mr Matt Lee 2025-02-17 | #rtx5080 #ASUS #asuspcdiy - High airflow with minimal case fans which translates to lower noise and simplicity. It's time to explore the be quiet! This specific model is the 'Airflow Windowed' version which I feel gives the best of low noise whilst retaining hardware visibility, even in a blackout zero RGB form. For a mid tower form factor, the Pure Base 501 does an excellent job of remaining compact with some solid hardware support. Radiators up top take quite a hit with 240mm being the maximum (360mm up front) but it makes up for it with great GPU length, housing most of the larger 50 series cards too. I built with eight 140mm Phanteks fans (four in, four out) which gave this system more airflow than it could ever need. It's crazy to think that there was still space for a further three 140mm fans if needed on the side panel too!HAVN have truly embraced something a little different here. The bottom intake fans came into their own with directing the flow of air towards the GPU which was evident during testing. We didn't anticipate the ROG Astral to exhaust through the cable management holes however, but that was really awesome to see! The RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 models share the same dimensions, therefore this video is valid for both. Premium materials, premium price tag, that's pretty much the summary here, but with the price of RTX 5090 boards already being expensive, the ROG Astral paves its way forward as a standout product in it's own right.There has been a small number of complaints saying that the additional fan increases noise levels due to turbulence. I did test extensively for this, but other than a marginal increase in volumes due to having one extra fan, it seems our version isn't prone to anything unordinary.It was also noted during the Astral Overview section of the video that the measurements supplied by ASUS on their website is incorrect. Well, it's small... it has the ability to support a Strix RTX 4090 and the colossal Noctua RTX 4080... very little space wasted inside, whilst retaining a low cost and high build quality. Throw in the support for reverse motherboard connect and that's quite a large demand for such a small case.Jonsbo are an illusive brand here in the UK. Whilst we can find them in places like Overclockers, it seems like all new releases take at least a year to make it to our market which blows my mind. Anyway, cut to present day and as luck should have it, a rouge D32 Pro appeared for sale finally! I went into this build with similar expectations to that of the Z20 recently featured on the channel. The materials and overall build quality are much the same, including some typical Jonsbo style quirks along the way. Not only that, but the freedom to utilise the components both in dual chamber and standard mid-tower format too. As for the Lamborghini O11 Evo... This really is 'the one'. The implementation of the rear screen was a really nice touch, bringing in the performance dials in such a way that resembles a speedometer / hud has been extremely well executed. Whilst power supplies don't typically make constant noise anyway, when focussing on a system designed to be as quiet as physically possible, the Seasonic X Noctua PRIME TX really comes into its own. With 1600W available on tap, it's massively overpowered for this build specifically, but that can only work in its advantage by keeping the fan (where applicable) at it's lowest possible speed. Seasonic and Noctua have done a great job of both the colours and the included cables, bringing in just the right amount of Noctua colour branding without feeling overpowering. You bet I was stoked when ASUS UK approached me to ask if I wanted to team up with them and AMD to give away a high end PC. I even got to choose all of the hardware which was freaking awesome!The TUF Gaming GT302 case is one of the best performing airflow cases of the last year. Paired up with the Strix LC III 360, there's no cap on how far you can push the 9800X3D. The new TL wireless tick all the right boxes for those looking for aesthetic focussed with LCD screens, or pure performance with the standard LED versions. Much the same as the previous SL fans, the signal is transmitted to and from the fans utilising wireless senders and receivers. The result is less cables, no oversized control boxes along with a simplified installation process. The performance is exactly as we'd come to expect from Lian Li, with the fans running smoothly, quietly and moving loads of air at the same time. The L-Connect3 software makes the setup easy and straightforward too. Building with the O11 Vision Compact with a radiator on the top this time was a great time too. The wood edition brings that extra touch of character whilst also opening up the front panel for more airflow, which is a welcomed addition for extra PSU ventilation that's for sure.The Walnut wood on the front panel of the A3 is well finished with clear attention to detail, including a removable dust filter which is nice to see. As for the hardware, it's very much exactly the same support as previous A3 cases. Building this PC with three budget levels in mind was a fun approach. More often than not, changing GPU's between 4060 and 4080 Super for example would come at the cost of varying sizes, but with this setup the aesthetic simply won't change.The SCYTHE Mugen 5 Rev C is a wonderful air cooler, combined with their Kaze Flex fans which are capable of some serious airflow power once they start ramping up too! Whilst the 'Pro' version of the case comes with additional valuable features, they didn't really apply here because of the intention to use Noctua etc anyway.With that said, the Antec Flux is a solid option for those seeking high airflow whilst still retaining a gamer-y style chassis. The ProArt hardware seamlessly blends into the overall theme with this one, carrying those walnut tones through with the gold and brown branding. Building in the Antec Flux was really straight forward as to be expected with a mid-tower of this style. Those seeking mountains more power than the i9 14900K may be disappointed, but make no mistake the 285K has some serious power to be had whilst also consuming less energy and that's a winner. The ROG Maximus Z890 Apex provides a solid platform to fully utilise every bit of the new CPU's from intel whilst retaining those stylish and sharp design angles.
