I was originally going to do a video of the South Shore Line which runs to Indiana but a large section of that line is under repair so here is a train network I ride frequently when I'm out here for college! Took a day trip to the Chicago Botanic Gardens which has a massive G scale outdoor model railroad. The journey was a bout 50 minutes & cost about $6 one way (or $10 for a day pass). Metra isn't perfect but it does get you around most of the Chicago area and is WAY safer than the CTA subway lines.
