Distinti shows that the 300 year old Gyroscope equations are gibberish. Modern Finite element modeling does accurately mimic gyroscope behavior; however, there is little that can be learned from observing a simulation than observing a real gyroscope. The new Gyroscope equation allows us to dive deep into understanding the subtle behaviors that have been overlooked.
