In this video I show how to flash custom firmware onto the KSGER T12. The firmware also supports the Quicko stations. This firmware is also open-source If you want to make your own customizations to it. I used an ST-Link to do this. The firmware is flash onto the STM32F103 on the SWD line. This firmware modification adds the ability to use JBC tips, a faster boot time, and more control over what's going on inside it. BTW for the amazon link, I did not link the same model I have so hopefully you don't run into the issue I have. I think these Hakko T12 stations are great entry-level soldering stations.
