T is for Turn-up Book! What is a turn up book?
Here is a brief history of one an early form of movable book. Turn-up books were interactive booklets that have been engaged with by children and adults from the mid 17th century to the mid 19th century” in England, Germany, and America. Early examples formed part of the “Cheap Print” of the period.
