Matti"To be clear, I plan to sell this my self, as a kit. I will do my best that the price would be "No point on self sourcing", and parts are closed source anyway. (I could sell personal licenses maybe) Cant beat Bambu but Have to beat Prusa XL by far, for this to be reasonable."
This is my new 3D printer design. It has 6 individual hotends which are swapped to toolhead. Yes, only hotends are swapped! All share one extruder, fans and so on. Exception, there is one shared blower in the tool park for hotends. The main idea is to minimize the part usage, hence cost of the printer. And of course, multi tool printer is much more economic in filament and time usage compared to single nozzle multi-COLOR printers. Only fraction of waste (of material and time) goes in priming! Also you can mix different materials almost without limit. Printer uses Klipper software, and I have written a series of macros which automates calibrating the nozzle offsets. Works great! I have decided that I will aim to commercialize my work.
Motion: CoreXY Build volume: 300mm squared Speed: Super mega lightning... Fast enough for practical use! Acceleration: Good enough for practical use. 3Denchy, GOOD quality within the benchy rules, sub15min! Huge thanks to my supporters! LDO-motors - E3D - Bondtech - Polymaker All support is welcome. Featuring My Hotend-tool-changer 3D printerMatti2025-01-17 | Out of curiosity, I decided to set up a stream. First and last ever? Technical difficulties guaranteed! Quality will be poor, I have no decent camera or microphone and OBS is running on VERY old laptop.. Anyway, if this works and I feel comfortable doing this, I could stream my builds and use them as instructions, at first stage at least.
If you watch this afterwards, I recommend you skip to around 2h mark, the start is pure pain and suffering 😂 Not saying the quality improves but at least I got company there and my setup working even a bit!
I don't know how to replay chat...

Actual print took 14h14min. Layer height 0.2 all the way. Infill used was 50% "lightning" which saves time and material with display model like this. If used 10% grid infill, time would be extended an hour or two.
