This is the first time I booted up my new System76 Galago Pro (galp5). It seems it just boots up the recovery partition which is basically the same Pop!_OS installation ISO you can download on their website. You just go through the install like you normally would.
There are some integration with the hardware, such as notifications of firmware upgrades and System76 specific drivers and packages.
I’m excited to upgrade the base 8GB RAM and 500 GB SSD with 32 GB RAM and 2TB SSD!
I will benchmark the SSDs, and work on making a performance and battery life review.
Again, sorry for poor video, no audio, and handheld quality. I am living in a full house and it’s hard to make videos like I used to. My videos are improvised as always just to get the info out. I may have lots of videos, but I am still not a professional YouTuber. I cannot believe there is such a thing these days, lol, but I’m looking at people like Linus, Hardware Unboxed, JayzTwoCents, and Gamer Nexus. I am in awe at what they’ve done!
