Just a video on what I've done recently to my PC. Even though the rig was still in good order, I decided to give it an upgrade to speed things up for video rendering and Photoshop work etc, and to benefit from the USB3 transfer speeds.
All in all I think the performance upgrade is great, video rendering times have dropped by around 30% over the older system and the upgrade to the GPU has meant I can now run every game I have at max settings.

CPU - Intel 6900k @ 3.8GHz
Cooler - Thermalright VenomousX
RAM - Corsair Dominator DDR4 @ 3000MHz
GPU - Zotac GTX1070 Amp Edition
